I'm Taryn ... and the concerned looking Cocker is my heartdog, Bristol (although I've taken to calling her 'Bristol Sassy Pants'). Don't trust that I'm not sure about this gaze of hers... she's as confident and happy as they come. No fear in this one... except maybe Snowmen. And traffic cones. You can never trust those bright [dog eating] orange traffic cones.
I knew before we even had a dog that playing around with agility was something I wanted to do. It looked like fun! What I didn't count on was just how awesome my canine partner would turn out to be. I've shifted my ambition from being able to have something fun to do in my backyard to aspiring to agility nationals. Short of a career-ending injury altering our plans, I'm confident that we'll get there. Whether or not we podium is an entirely different story! (But in truth: I would just be stoked to even be competing against some of the best in the country. To podium would be the icing on the cake.)
This blog is intended to track our agility journey ... from training to trials and all the milestones in between.
